The Curio at Maker Exchange (710 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37902)
Dogwood Arts is excited to be curating local maker work for sale in a vibrant new public space called the Maker Exchange. Located between the new Marriott hotel and The Tennessean, across from the Knoxville Convention Center, and adjacent to World’s Fair Park, Maker Exchange is poised to welcome a significant and constant stream of traffic and buyers to this engaging new space.
Artwork is sold on consignment in this unique retail setting, which showcases the amazing talent in Knoxville to visitors and locals alike. Pieces will ideally be made available for sale for a minimum of four (4) weeks and a maximum of six (6) months.
Maker Exchange includes a restaurant, bar, lounge, den, coffee shop, and a curated gallery/retail experience/event space called the Curio (that's where we come in).
Curio display options include glass cabinets, wall space, and floor spaces.
We are currently seeking 2-D and 3-D artwork, including large-scale pieces. Please ensure 2-D work is ready to hang.
Note that while all artwork will be priced, Dogwood cannot guarantee sales. And since the Curio is a shared space, we may need to move or display your pieces with other artwork and objects. There is no fee associated with exhibiting in the space, however, we do keep a 20% commission on sales to cover direct operating costs, so please price accordingly.
Dogwood is using an ongoing jurying and selection process based on seasonal events happening in and around Maker Exchange throughout the year, so this form will remain open without a deadline. You are welcome to apply for consideration anytime and if selected, we will follow up to request any additional information about your work to properly represent you in the space.
Please provide up to 3 examples of artworks you'd like to sell or that best represent your work:
